Over 900 Students with Special Needs Receive Holiday Support and Warmth
June 4, 2025, just days after Children’s Day, STARTRADER visited Wenzhou School for Special Education to host a heartwarming charity event titled “Warming Young Hearts, Walking Together with Stars.” The initiative brought holiday greetings and practical donations to children with hearing, visual, and intellectual disabilities.
During the event, STARTRADER donated over 160 pairs of children’s sports shoes along with various essential supplies. The occasion featured heartfelt speeches from the school principal and STARTRADER CEO Peter. Students also presented handmade gifts as a gesture of appreciation. The agenda included a group photo, free interaction time, and a campus tour — all contributing to a warm and touching atmosphere.
In his speech, CEO Peter shared: “Every child deserves to be treated with kindness. We hope this small gesture brings encouragement, and more importantly, we hope it inspires others to pass on the goodwill.” The children’s handmade gifts, full of creativity and sincerity, became one of the most touching moments of the day.
Reaching Special Groups, Guiding Love in the Right Direction
Wenzhou School for Special Education is currently the largest institution of its kind in China, serving over 900 students with special needs across hearing, visual, and intellectual impairments. The school offers comprehensive education from kindergarten to vocational high school and focuses on both academic development and life skills.
This charity initiative not only provided tangible support to the students but also demonstrated STARTRADER’s commitment to long-term, localized community engagement. Through in-person interaction and shared experiences, the team gained deeper understanding of the needs of these children — reaffirming the importance of empathy, inclusion, and continued support.
