STARTRADER made a strong statement at Money Expo Colombia on June 25–26, captivating attention from more than 3,500 visitors eager to see the latest in financial trading and investing.
Stepping in as Diamond Sponsor, the company turned Booth No. 15 into a dynamic hub where traders, investors, and finance professionals interacted with STARTRADER’s expert team over the two-day period.
Hosted in Agora Bogotá, Centro de Convenciones and managed by HQMena, Money Expo Colombia assembled industry leaders to highlight innovations, form alliances, and broaden their presence in Latin American markets.
Pre-Event Webinar Sets the Stage
Three days prior to the expo’s opening, Mr. Santiago Guzman, STARTRADER’s LATAM Business Developer, organized an online webinar on June 23. He walked the participants through new investment prospects, discussing practical strategies tailored for the current market environment. The session became exceptionally interactive as the attendees threw in questions and explored trading products, building a conversation that familiarized them with what lay ahead at the expo.
The Booth Experience: Where Engagement Meets Strategy
STARTRADER’s booth always attracts a crowd at expos, and Money Expo Colombia was no different. The team adopted an innovative theme, “Let Strategy Roar the Jaguar Way,” a reference to the national emblem of Colombia that best described the company’s aggressive trading stance.
The showstopper? An interactive Khatoot game that put visitors’ market acumen to the test. The game not only entertained, but also generated insight into trading techniques, provided learning experiences, and rewarded the challengers who stepped up to the test.
The “jaguar way” philosophy captures the way STARTRADER has developed over its life. Through calculated moves, whether it was developing their mobile platform, adding STAR Matrix and STAR Copy, or achieving their SCA license, the company has systematically fortified its market standing and widened its global reach.
Thought Leadership Through Presentations
Mr. Santiago Guzman stepped onto the stage to present a keynote on “Inflation and Its Impact on Monetary Policies,” revealing how inflation pressures influence central bank behavior and affect market participants. He explored real-world implications for traders as they navigate evolving monetary climates.
That same afternoon, he participated in a panel discussion called “Mastering Risk: Strategies for Resilience in Unpredictable Markets.” Alongside fellow industry experts, he discussed practical approaches to managing volatility, underscoring why adaptability and risk management remain essential in today’s dynamic trading environment.
Recognition: Best Trading App Award 2025
One of the event’s highlights occurred when STARTRADER won the Best Trading App Award 2025, an acknowledgement that confirmed the team’s commitment to user experience. Customers always sing the praises of the app’s ease of use and solid functionality. Functionality such as real-time updates on the markets and watchlists that can be customized allow traders to implement decisions effectively anywhere.
The development team has not rested on this laurel. They have just rolled out STAR Copy, a function that allows users to mimic high-performing providers’ trades with little effort. This is just one piece of the next step in an ever-unfolding evolution, as the team continues to strive to improve capabilities and set higher standards for mobile trading platforms.
