سجلت أسعار الذهب خسائر أسبوعية لثاني أسبوع على التوالي حيث تراجعت بأكثر من 1.4% للتداول عند 1980 دولار للأونصة وهو أقل مستوى في 3 أسابيع. و ارتفع مؤشر الدولار قليلاً واستقر فوق مستويات 101.40 بعدما أظهرت التصريحات الأخيرة لمسؤولي الاحتياطي الفيدرالي دعمهم لزيادة إضافية لمعدل الفائدة في اجتماع مايو المقبل. حيث ارتفعت نسبة التوقعات لرفع الفدرالي لمعدل الفائدة بنحو 25 نقطة أساس الشهر المقبل لمستويات 80%.
